The Surface Laptop Go 2 was introduced in June. It has the same compact design as its predecessor, with 12.4-inch PixelSense multi-touch display with HD resolution. Its aspect ratio is 3:2, an unconventional format for a laptop, and its body is made of aluminum.
The new Microsoft laptop integrates an 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor accompanied by 8 GB of RAM, and versions of 128 or 256 GB of SSD storage. Of course, the operating system is Windows 11, and its autonomy reaches up to 13.5 hours with “everyday use”, according to Microsoft.
In security matters, in addition to the TPM firmware, The Surface Laptop Go 2 has a fingerprint sensor on the power button. Unfortunately, its selection of ports is not very wide, with only one USB-A and one USB-C port, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack and a Surface connection for charging.
Finally, the Surface Laptop Go 2 has a 720p webcam and Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio Premium sound.
